The Fox and Hounds Tavern and Boundary at the Cheshire Inn, Creed II and Boy Erased

If you are feeling a little noble and want to surround yourself in English style for the evening, there is no better place to head than to the Cheshire Inn’s Boundary for dinner. Nestled directly across from the Cheshire Inn, Boundary will fill your senses and taste buds with its unique modern interpretations of those hearty meals we have come to know and love. Whether you start out with something from the raw bar—including oysters on the half shell, steak tartare or a prawn cocktail—or you dive right in to an entree like fish and chips, filet mignon or seared scallops, Boundary is certain to please your palate.

And you might want to return to the Cheshire Inn after the movie too to take in a nightcap at Fox and Hounds, a pub designed with distinct old-world charm and enough spirit options that you might have a hard time choosing exactly which cocktail you want to end your perfect date night with.

Two Can’t-Miss Movies to Catch This Month

Boy Erased, in theaters Nov. 2

Starring Lucas Hedges, Nicole Kidman, Russell Crowe and Joel Edgerton

Directed and Written by Golden Globe nominee Joel Edgerton and based on the true-life memoir by Garrard Conley, Boy Erased takes us deep into the turmoil and uncertainty of Jaren Eamon’s (Lucas Hedges) life as he is forced to face his sexuality after being outed to his Baptist minister father (Russell Crowe) and his sweet, and easily misguided mother (Nicole Kidman). As Jared fears losing the life he knows and the people he loves, he succumbs to the pressures being forced upon him and enters into a conversion therapy program designed to alleviate his so-called misguided sexual preference.

While Jared attempts to come to terms with the life his parents and the outside world feel he should live, he finds himself in conflict with the leader of the conversion program, Victor Sykes (Joel Edgerton) as he struggles to find the strength and courage to accept and acknowledge his sexual identity.

Creed II, in theaters Nov. 21

Starring Michael B. Jordan, Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, Florian Munteanu, Phylicia Rashad, Tessa Thompson and Wood Harris

Written by and starring Sylvester Stallone, aka Rocky Balboa himself, Creed II is the eighth installment in the Rocky franchise and the sequel to 2015’s Creed, which garnered Sylvester Stallone a much-deserved Oscar nod. In Creed II, we head back into Adonis Creed’s life (Michael B. Jordan) as he feverishly trains to take on a new rival, Viktor Drago (Florian Munteanu), Ivan Drago’s son (Dolph Lundgren). While Adonis tries to come to terms with the fact that he’s about to face the son of the man that ultimately killed his own father, Rocky steps in to help Adonis prepare for the fight of his life—thus forcing them both to face the realities of their pasts and the realization that nothing in this life is more important than family.
